On Friday and Saturday (04 - 05 November), Verity exhibited at the annual Fertility Show for the second year in a row.
It was a busy few days, with The Fertility Show welcoming over 3,500 people over the two days. The Verity stand was very well received, and we must have talked to almost 1,000 people over all! It was a very busy couple of days, with Rachel, Caroline and Alison taking time away from their jobs to be there bright and early for opening.
With so many people coming through the doors, it was a fantastic opportunity to to raise awareness of PCOS and of course, of Verity. There are hundreds of thousands of women in the UK (if not millions) with this condition, and yet Verity only has just under one thousand members - leaving a massive number of women we still need to reach!
There were two sessions on PCOS on the first day of the conference, 'Dealing with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome' (Dr Magdy Asaad, Clinical Director of the London Fertility Centre) and 'How to treat PCOS with nutrition and natural remedies' (Dr Marilyn Glenville, nutritionist).
