WHAT DOES 'UK TAX PAYER - GIFT AID' MEAN?
If you pay tax in the UK, please select the ‘Gift Aid’ option when you check out (or if paying by cheque, please include a note that permits us to claim on your behalf). Selecting Gift Aid adds a further 25p per £1 from HMRC… and doesn’t cost you a thing! So, for your £15 payment that’s an extra £3.75 Verity receives. Imagine if everyone did that what a difference it could make! To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year. |
