Here you will find a list of the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) about Verity. This is a new section to the Verity website, and it will take time for us to build up the list of questions and answers for you. If you have a question and it has not been answered please reach out to us via the contact form and we will do our best to answer your query.

PRODUCT ORDER

I PURCHASED AN INFORMATION PACK / WRISTBAND / PIN BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT YET
Verity is run entirely by volunteers. As we do not have a full time office person it can take up to six weeks to process orders. If you believe you should have received your order within this time, you can use the contact form to submit an enquiry.

I HAVEN'T RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF MY CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
Unfortunately we will be unable to confirm receipt of any registrations. Your pay pal receipt (or if paid by cheque please provide an email address as well to confirm receipt of post) will suffice. We will send an email nearer the time with any finer details but please keep an eye on the website for information as to the event. Please ensure you add if you have any dietary requirements.

WILL I RECEIVE A TICKET IN THE POST?
As Verity is run entirely by volunteers we feel it is not a good use of time and money to send out entry tickets.  When you register we add your name to the delegate list, and when you come along on the day we will tick your name off the list and give you your name badge and delegate bag

SUPPORT AND ADVICE

CAN YOU RECOMMEND A SPECIALIST PCOS DOCTOR IN MY AREA
Verity is a self-help group for women with PCOS, we are unable to provide you with a list of specialists in your area, however, you may wish to connect with your nearest local group or head to the discussion board where you can contact other women with PCOS in your area who may be able to advise you further

WHAT IF THERE IS NOT A LOCAL GROUP IN MY AREA?
Our local groups are run by volunteers who give up their time to try and facilitate face to face communications with other women in your area to provide essential support and friendship. The regularity of meetings will often depend upon the numbers involved and the local group leader's time and other commitments. If there is not a local group in your area why not think about establishing one and contact [email protected].
