FUNDRAISING
Verity is almost entirely funded by through initiatives such as selling information packs, fundraising and donations. Other sources of funds Verity receives are from fundraising initiatives such as Amazon commission and Gift Aid (where we receive an extra 25% from the Government on certain monies). Last financial year (2018-2019), our income was just £17.8k.
But… you can help Verity raise funds with very little effort! The more income we have, the more work we are able to do and the more secure the Charity is.
Learn more about why you should fundraise for us or find more ways to fundraise for us below.
No matter what fundraising you are doing you can set up a JustGiving page to make donation collection easy and hassle free. Bake Sales, sponsored hair cuts and hair growth, runs and physical challenges, quizzes etc can all be made easier using JustGiving.

eBay for Charity allows you to list items with a percentage of the sale being donated to us, super easy. You can also search specifically for items that are listed for particular charities - who knew shopping could be so altruistic?

If you shop on Amazon, clicking through from our website or using smile.amazon.co.uk instead, means the charity you choose to suppport receives 0.5% of you purchases. At the moment this does not work on thier mobile app.
|
Give as you Live Online is another website that allows you to raise money for charity whilst doing your online shopping. Clicking through from the Give as you Live link means that the retailer will donate some money back to us and it includes things like train and theatre tickets too.
