GRANT MANAGEREstimated commitment: 4 hours per month or as required
Monitor and reply to the grants@verity-pcos.org.uk email account, and log all grants that the board may wish to consider. Maintain a database of grants applications and following up. Complete grant applications and grant feedbacks with trustee approval. Liaise with others to ensure grant usage is in line with grant requirements and outcomes. Maintain the corporate calendar with annual grant deadlines. Monthly report to Board of Trustees. Experience needed: computer savvy, grant writing application essential Location: Online based with some meetings. |
PR MANAGEREstimated commitment: Up to 6 hours per month
Daily monitoring of the media@verity-pcos.org.uk email account and logging all requests in a central spreadsheet. Responding to journalists in a timely manner, and recruiting case studies or expert comment from board of medical advisors or Chair of Verity. Will need to post to social media and email database as and where needed to recruit case studies. Monitor publications for media coverage and then communicate to Information Production Manager to communicate to Verity members and online community. Monthly report to Board of Trustees. Experience needed: PR experience required Location: Online based |
RESEARCH MANAGEREstimated commitment: Approx. 4 hours per month each
Monitor and reply to the research@verity-pcos.org.uk email account and logging all requests in a central spreadsheet. Filter the research requests as per provided guidelines, and where appropriate provide information, or escalate to the Board of Trustees to approve participant recruitment after you have ensured ethics approval on the research study. Liaise with Digital Manager to recruit participants and Finance Manager to invoice for recruitment where appropriate. Following up on outcome of research to provide to Information Production Manager to communicate to members and Verity online community. Monthly report to Board of Trustees. Experience needed: Computer savvy with a background in research preferred (but not necessary) Location: Online based |
FUNDRAISING MANAGER
Estimated commitment: 8-10 hours per month
Monitor and reply to the fundraising@verity-pcos.org.uk email account, and log all fundraisers details in a central spreadsheet. Excellent people skills to encourage and support fundraisers throughout the year. Keeping track of requests for sending out information packs, logos and following up after events. Recording all fundraising activities and revenue raised. Liaising with digital manager to profile prolific fundraisers. Ensuring all activities are in line with aims and ethics of Verity. Identify and follow up Verity organised activities and ensure board informed of all activities. Monthly report to Board of Trustees Experience needed: computer savvy Location: online based with some meetings. |
iNFORMATION PRODUCTION MANAGEREstimated commitment: 5 hours per month or as required
Obtain and filter content for regular online newsletter and blog. Monitor the intouch@verity-pcos.org.uk and respond to the same. Edit content to be used for both resources. Liaise with other managers to ensure regular fresh updated contents. Liaise and source advertising for online In Touch. Regular review of google alerts, news and research on what is happening with PCOS. Interviews with volunteers, professionals and members. Monthly report to Board of Trustees Experience needed: Computer savvy with copy and/or edit experience preferred (but not necessary) Location: online based with some meetings. |

Monitor website@verity-pcos.org.uk, website, and discussion board. Respond to password requests. Experience needed in usage of Content Management Systems, and database management.
