Therefore, we are reliant on the support of fantastic individuals who wish to research PCOS to help further everyone's understanding of the condition, it's symptoms and the effect on women like you.

If you wish to conduct research
We often get requests from individuals wishing to use Verity as a platform in order to reach out to women with PCOS who could be prospective research participants.

Once we confirmed that we can assist you, please provide:
When you have concluded your research we also require you to provide us with a copy of the research outcomes for our records in addition to a 250 word blog for our supporters to learn about the outcomes. Make sure to inform the research volunteer of your conclusion, submission or publication date so they can follow up with you at the time.

- An outline that sets out who you are and the purpose of your research eg you are a student and this is part of your dissertation project
- A copy of your ethics approval from the relevant body or association - please remember to seek ethical approval to use social media for recruitment as this is the main way that we reach out to our community
Once we confirmed that we can assist you, please provide:
- A 250 word piece for our blog about your research. Remember that this is targeted at women with PCOS and therefore should be accessbile for the general public and not use too much jargon. Ensure that you include contact details as part of this post
- A 140 character tweet with a summary of the purpose of your research eg PCOS and diet, PCOS and wellbeing. We will include a link to our blog post and the hashtags #PCOS #PCOSAwareness and #PCOSresearch so please do not include contact details in the tweet.
- A 100 word facebook post again summarising your research and who you are looking to recruit. We will include a link to the blog post as part of this so please do not include contact details here.
- A relevant image such as your university or research body logo, this should be a PNG or JPG file
