Meet our volunteers

We are very fortunate (and thankful) to have a wonderful team of committed volunteers, and we really would be not able to do and achieve as much as we do without their support.
HOLLY JARRAD

Holly joined Verity as a volunteer way back in 2006, and manages email enquiries, our forum and many other things.  Outside of Verity, Holly has been married for over 20 years and enjoys travelling with her family and breeding dogs.
JACQUELINE HASSLER
VOLUNTEER
Jacqui joined Verity as a volunteer in 2009, coming on board as office support.  Outside of Verity, she was formerly a management accountant in the NHS.  She's been married for 25 years and blessed with a beautiful daughter.
REBECCA LIGHT

Rebecca started volunteering with Verity in 2018. She manages research requests from students and researchers. Outside of Verity, she works in research and loves walking her dog around the countryside.
The team at Verity are also very thankful to have the supported of a group of volunteers around the country who run local support groups in their area.  They provide essential support in a safe and informal environment to those newly diagnosed and those that have lived with their PCOS diagnosis for some time.  If you are interested in attending or running a local group, please learn more on the website or get in touch.

CURIOUS ABOUT VOLUNTEERING?

Verity as a charity relies on the goodwill and time of patients, family and friends, and professional companies like yourselves. Volunteering is often found to be good not only for the charity but also good for yourself.  It can provide a sense of community knowing you are part of an influential group of passionate individuals who wish to promote the condition. You can learn new skills such as use of information technology, social media or public speaking.
